Product Image    François Azambourg

Inventor and designer, Azambourg combines beauty with the technique of craftsmanship, a true adept of applied arts. He is oriented towards simplicity and lightness, pushing himself into the realm of objects that go against common trends. Azambourg « weaves » furniture and avails himself of techniques reminiscent of NASA. Reminiscent too, of poetry. He breaks radically with modern concepts distinguishing between structure and covering, instead hybridizing disciplines, mixing sophisticated composites, even including nature’ s treasures in the process.
In 1985, this resulted in him winning the Musée des Arts Décoratifs competition with a coffee pot made entirely of paper.
